Quilt Love

I pieced this quilt, me. Me? yes. About 3 years ago. I am not good at sewing and I am not good at piecing. But, this, amazingly enough, was simple to make. I used a special tool, my quilting friend told me about. It went really quickly. Once the fabric is cut. Putting this quilt together went so fast. And now I look at this beauty, and long for it to be quilted. Not sure how I will tackle that. Love the Kaffe fabric, too. I am so glad I pulled this out and looked at it. Makes me smile.

something about a stick and he thinks he lost his uvula
driving 25 minutes to the ER
80 miles an hour breaking all kinds of laws
after 3 hours and wonderful Dr.'s and nurses
my son is ok.

He still has his uvula
He also has a puncture in the back of his throat between the uvula and tonsil.

When I am weak
He is strong
Thank you Lord for giving us the strength
to make our way through this day

Did something for myself today. When I saw these last year, I wanted to make one. For some reason or another it didn't happen until today.
