Quilts and Clothwork

I want to introduce you to my friend, Angela. She is the owner of Quilts and Clothwork. She has a longarm machine and opened her home based business 4 years ago. Can you say talent. She is amazing. She has quilted all of my quilts and has really been an inspiration to me. Thank you Angela for all the laughter. http://quiltsandclothwork.blogspot.com/

Call us Uncle Chuck

Hey Uncle Chuck,
Remember this hat? Yup , it belonged to you. Somehow, I have your one year old Easter outfit, your bible, and this hat. Need to chat with you about Dad's birthday present. Give A and Z a kiss from us!
( in your Bible you wrote.... Dear God, I thank you for giving my family the mony to go the the Dodger game. P.S. I sorry my writing is messy)

The Story of a House that needed some paint

My house is screaming, it needs to be painted. So comes picking colors. Should be fun , right? No, not fun. My Hubby, the painter is doing a fab job scraping and prepping. As I try to pick the colors. I have gone from, all white, to yellow, blue , gray, green. I want something different! Dog'on it! My Dad and Mom's new house (which is beautiful) is gray with white trim and red door, which is what I was considering, but I don't want to be just like my Mom. (love ya mom) I have been pulling pages from magazines for years now, anyone else? or just me. I have a little file going. As I was looking through the file for inspiration I noticed something. Blue. Lots of blue.
I want that house in the bottom picture. Is it possible? Is that like asking your hairdresser for Brooke Sheilds hair when you have 2 hairs on your head? I did narrow down colors thanks to all the magazine pages. The name of the colors are "Piece of the sky" and "Dark Cherry tart" I love the names of the colors, so I must love the colors......
